LEGO Star Wars Revenge of the Sith ARC-170 Starfighter Spaceship Building Toy 75402

They always make durable, strong quality products and this Lego set fighter jet is no exception. My son loves putting together this set and is still currently working on it but it’s keeping him entertained for a long time. He loves to display them once complete in his room And gives him great satisfaction when completing them. If you have a child that loves puzzles, the Legos is the ultimate.

The level of detail and scaling is amazing on this new ARC 170 but there are glaring issues with the stickers/prints. The stickers on the canopy's are inexcusable for a premium toy, what should be white prints look more like a dark grey when applied to the canopy piece. There is also a printed tile piece where the maroon print is actually just really dark red and is not even close to matching the rest of the maroon pieces on the set. Overall this is a fantastic remake but at it's price point the issues with the stickers/printing does not make me feel satisfied with the amount I paid for this set.

The classic set was a million times better, the wings are smaller in this one, please don’t do this again!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are big Star Wars fans in this house, and I love building with LEGO. My granddaughter and I built this together, and the instructions were simple to follow. The LEGO was packaged very conveniently, which made it easier for us. We really enjoyed the building process, and once it was all complete, it turned out to be very sturdy and looks fantastic!

Compared to previous models this Arc-170 is much sturdier, fixing a glaring problem that plagued the other versions, and improves the wing opening mechanism which is now a satisfying immediate snap to open and shut. However, this has come with the compromise of shortening the wings to put less stress on the main body of the ship. The ship overall is also downsized slightly but crucially doesn't suffer from the problem other sets do, in that all figures can sit upright in the cockpits. Overall I think this trade-off is an improvement, and personally I prefer the look of the shorter wings even though the proportions are inaccurate. However, this model is held back by some very strange choices. The cannons on this ship are tiny compared to what they should be. I modified the 2010 models cannons and added them to this ship and it looks perfect. I have no idea why that decision was made, it's barely any extra pieces, and causes no structural issues at all. Another minor issue is the printing quality of the windscreen stickers. They don't match the white of the bricks, making them feel a little out of place, but more of an issue, they don't match what was advertised on the box. Then we come to the price of the set. Given its flaws it definitely feels slightly overpriced, and so printed pieces instead of stickers would have solved two problems here for me. This is a great model but shouldn't have these issues with the stickers and tiny cannons for that price.

I've never wrote reviews, especially negative ones, but the stickers in this set, just made it so awful that I've never experienced, the transparent white on the canopy with all the bubbles I just can't unseen it, it's so bad I can't even imagine this is really a LEGO product.

At first I was skeptical of how this would be considering it is more downsized from the previous versions, but after seeing it in person I don't think it's a serious problem considering it's more sturdy. My only real complaint is the stickers on the cockpits, they look really bad and is just inexcusable by LEGO at this point. Overall a very good set.

great set great bulid but should of included a sign for 20 years of revenge of the sith

Yes...I know. And I agree, it is overpriced, but looking past that, it's an incredible set. I love the way the wings open and the mini figures and just overall looks great. My only complaint is that the cockpit details are stickers so they are basically transparent

hate the stud shooter, small guns, and HATE the stickers on the windshield .Got into this hobby in the last 3 years so comparing this to the old arc 170 feels like a downgrade.. glad to have one and love the minifigures but the build leaves much to be desired.

It's an amazing set that deserves more praise, I like it a lot thank you for including the wing opening function and it works well. I like the clone selection in the set, I'm glad to see named and un-named, clones in a set especially a spaceship one, I Alonso love that you included a new Droid color, thank you for that!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging is sturdy & easy to open & to also use once packed away Safety is excellent as long as you use for the age it specifies. Assembly is fairly straight forward & easy to do. Great for when we have friends over with their children to use their motor skills & for family & friends to do together

The building experience for this set was very engaging, while the minifigures in this set are amazing. This cannot justify the price for this set especially when Lego uses the worst stickers I have ever had in a Lego Star Wars set on the canopy pieces. If you want this set I recommend waiting and not paying full price.

Pretty good in general. Some inaccuracies compared to the real thing. I understand that it was designed for play rather than accuracy but I think at this point the Lego Star Wars market has grown up and would prefer more accurate sets to source material.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Star wars Lego set has been an incredible addition to my current Lego collection for my little boy. They comes in separate bags making it very convenient to use and helps with building and locating different parts. The instructions are detailed and helps to make it even easier. It comes with Lego separater so incase of any mistakes you can easily detach them . My son has spent past week role playing and playing with various parts. It’s very alike the real Star Wars and adds more to the adventure and experience. I will highly recommend it as it’s fun and a very relaxing activity .
